  • The first week of the training is open to everyone who wants to use the 8 limbed path of yoga to influence how they live their life on & off of their mat. This week can be taken on its own without continuing on to week 2 & 3 which is the teaching development part of the program. This week is mandatory for the teaching development program. This week is all about living a yogic balanced life - focusing on food, lifestyle, teaching schedule, life schedule, etc
  • Prior to the week starting you will be expected to read two books which will be purchased at your own cost and upon registration and/or acceptance you will be given the names of the required books.

Week 3 – Teaching – Sep 10 -14/17 - 21. 2012

  • Teaching, teaching and teaching - I believe the best way to learn about your own practice and to learn about teaching is just to teach over and over again
  • The schedule for this week will be established as a group at the end of week 1. So the days and the times are open to discussion.
  • Each participant will teach the Strength & Soul class you have designed - including an intention and reading along with giving adjustments.
  • Kim will be giving feedback and critiques during the practice and after.

I expect a 100% commitment of all students that attend this training. This means attending each session in its entirety and completing all given assignments and readings.

A certificate authorizing you to teach Strength & Soul classes will be given based on your commitment and dedication and your proficiency in completing all components of the training. I will also give you a personalized letter that you can submit along with your credentials to any potential employer.

This program is not Yoga Alliance Certified if it is something that interests you I advise you to do your research. They do allow you to submit your certificate and program curriculum along with their fee and you can become certified with them.
